More Than a Wine Bar
Tucked away on St George's Lane, just steps from Monument station and Lloyd's of London, Steam Wine Bar has been the City's home for corporate entertaining since 2006. What started as a neighbourhood wine bar has grown into one of EC3's most sought-after event venues, hosting everyone from Olympic legends to FTSE 100 client lunches.
Space One
The Restaurant
To the right of the main bar, The Restaurant seats up to 60 for a formal dinner or 80 for a standing reception. Completely private and separate from the bar atmosphere, this is where our speaker lunches happen. Full dinner service or buffet. A private bar can be arranged.
Space Two
The Main Bar
Open plan with high tables, set opposite the main bar. The energy of the venue runs through this space. Ideal for 30 to 60 guests. Buffet and canape service. Perfect for networking events where you want the buzz of a live venue.
Space Three
The Raised Bar
To the left of the main bar, raised for privacy while keeping the atmosphere. Seats 10 to 35 guests comfortably. Its own speakers for music control and a plasma screen for sport. Ideal for smaller client dinners and team celebrations.

Full Venue Hire
The entire venue is available for exclusive hire. Up to 175 standing, 80 seated, 132 for quiz nights, 80 for race nights. Tailored to your event, with a dedicated coordinator from first enquiry to last orders.
